How can you raise a good man in such a bad time?
When the Germans invaded and occupied Luxembourg, they forcibly conscripted the locals into the Wehrmacht including nurse and resistance member Anne-Katrin Bärebësch. At the height of the Battle of the Bulge, Anne is nine month’s pregnant but threatened with execution if she leaves by the increasingly desperate German general. Her son is born at the turn of the tide as the Americans she has secretly informed approach, but in the apocalyptic landscape of the battle’s end, no one can be trusted.
With no other choice, she flees the battle & races home through the Ardennes with her newborn in tow. But she’s not alone in the harsh winter forest. The battle-twisted men she encounters are loyal to no-one and there’s a fanged creatures stalking her and her son… or is there?
